Make a super comfy sleeping bag for your doll or teddy with matching pillow.  During the workshop we will learn about sewing with fleece fabrics, creating something that is reversible - just as nice on the inside as it is on the outside, and applique. 
All materials provided. Although if you have particular colours in mind, please bring along half a metre of cotton or polycotton fabric and half a metre of fleece (I used polar fleece).
Suitable for absolute beginners over the age of 8 years or those with some machine stitching experience over 6 years. 
2 hr workshop

A relaxing hour of hand stitching to create a gorgeous flower brooch. During the workshop we will cut out petals, use simple hand stitches to connect them and then add a beautiful wooden button for the centre. The fabric, brooch pin, button, template and instructions will be included to take home.
No previous sewing skills required.

All materials are provided, but feel free to bring along fabrics if you have colours/patterns in mind.

A lovely workshop for absolute beginners or those in need of refreshing. 

You will learn how to thread and use a sewing machine while making a super length of bunting.

Using a fresh clean pair of socks, you will machine sew the body parts, fill comfortably with toy stuffing, do a little surgery stitching and add some button eyes to create your monkey pal. Some sewing machine experience required. There is a large sock selection to choose from here, but if you have a favourite pair please bring them along!

Zippity zip up a fun pencil case. There will be a wide range of fabrics to choose from, so whether a monster is your thing or pretty patterns, you can choose.
Basic machine sewing skills are required. All materials provided. Suitable for age 8 and above.

Your feet will be very pleased with you for learning how to make these slippers!
They are made from polar fleece, sherpa fleece and non-slip fabric on the soles. During the workshop you will learn how to sew with these fabrics. The templates, instructions and fabric are provided in a range of colours.
If you would like to bring your own fleece, you will need approx 60x50cm of sherpa fleece and 30x60cm polar fleece. 
Some machine sewing experience required - it can get lumpy!

Create your own storage solution from your favourite fabrics. These 'cat-eared' baskets can be made any size. During the workshop we will draw out the pattern and discuss how to re-size if required. Then stitch as many baskets as we can make in the time!

Learn how to make the cutest dinky dungarees in size newborn, 3-6 mths or 9-12 mths. You will need to bring 1 metre of cotton fabric and 60cm popper tape. Also matching (or contrasting) machine thread. The top stitching on my cloud pair of dungarees is in contrasting orange thread. The poppers attaching the straps will be provided. Some machine sewing experience required. Dungaree pattern included for you to take home.

4hr workshop.

Refreshments and a slice of cake will be provided.

While creating a hanging nightlight, learn about electronic circuits and E-textiles. Using conductive thread, we will stitch a working circuit with LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) and a battery holder.
Designs will be provided to make a Minion nightlight but if you would like to make something else please email me with your request. 
All materials provided including a battery.

Create a cute bunny cushion using hand and machine stitching.

Makers will cut out a felt bunny, ears and carrot, hand stitch these to the cushion front. Then make a pom pom tail and tie on. With guidance machine sew around the cushion and fill until comfy.

Learn to make your own lined Roman Blinds. If you can sew in a straight-ish line, you can make a Roman Blind! You will learn how to accurately measure and cut fabric for roman blinds, calculate spacings for blind rod pockets, apply hand-stitching techniques to give a neat finish to your blind and attach different blind mechanisms. All materials are provided to create a sample Roman Blind. This includes outer fabric, lining fabric, thread, roman blind tape and Velcro. Also, detailed instructions to take home. 4hr workshop. Refreshments and a slice of cake will be provided.

Get to grips with zips!
Zips can be a bit scary, so come along and learn lots of hints and tips to make them your friend. During the workshop you will make a lined zipped pouch. All materials provided.
