Sewing Lessons
This is me, sewing and talking as usual!
I have been teaching sewing, machine and hand, to all ages, for over 25 years and have endless patience and good humour!
I will teach you at your own pace, whether you are a complete beginner or would like to develop your skills further.
You could make aprons, roman blinds, curtains, fancy dress costumes, evening dresses, tea cosies, table runners, tote bags, dolls, bedding, cushions covers, peg bags, sock monkeys……

Lesson Structure
Absolute Beginners Lessons:
Fabric, thread and notions will be provided for the first hour’s lesson. This will enable you to practice threading and sewing with your/my machine.
We will start with simple machine skills, moving on to a range of different seams and then creating a tote bag/cushion cover.
After the initial lesson you will need to provide your own fabrics and notions (zips/buttons etc). We can discuss what type of items you would like to make, and I can guide you with your choices.
Improvers lessons:
Either bring along the project you are working on or contact me to discuss a project you would like to try.
